Chase Turns 40!

Yep. It happened. He has been rounding his age up for the past 3 years saying he is 40. I would always ask him "Why do you do that? Claim your thirties while you can!" The day finally came that he actually turned 40 and it didn't sound so bad to say since he had already been saying it for years! We were excited that morning for him to open his gifts from us and see his " I Love You Because" poster. He said it was his most favorite gift of all. Chase got to spend the day skiing with Jeff Chase up at Sundance. He also may have pulled a few illegal stunts at the resort to prove to himself he is not an old man ;) After his killer ski sess with Jeff the kids and I took him to see Captain Marvel at the Cinemark and then to Menchies afterwards. We came home and sang him happy birthday with a candle stuffed inside a bowl of Lucky Charms (we know how to get creative). The next day Chase went snowmobiling with Ryan Galbraith up in Mountain Green. It made my heart so happy that our hard working dad/husband got a few days to play in the great outdoors and celebrate his life. I am so grateful we get to call him ours and love him so much!

*On a side note: he finally got a new suit after 20 years. How handsome does he look?!! Very handsome if I do say so myself!
