Spring Break Part One
Our Spring Breaks are never traditional. They are always different according to Chase's work schedule. It was so nice to spend the week home with the kids just relaxing and seeing them play with friends. Chase ended up taking an overtime at Orem that had him gone three days in a row. We didn't want him to be gone and he didn't want to be gone, but we really needed the extra money. So the OT was a blessing to our family.
I love how much my kids love the library. I treasured the library when I was younger and my library card made me feel extra special. I loved when my mom would take me. It gave me such a sense of importance and independence to be able to check out my own books with my own library card.
Brielle found a new series by one of her favorite authors, Kathryn Lasky. Doesn't she look so cute checking out her books? Beckham does like to read, but has a harder time being decisive with which books to read. This time he chose to play Minecraft on the computer. Apparently Minecraft on the computer is way different than Minecraft on his Kindle or Wii U. So he was in heaven!
Beckham had a pass to Hang Time and really wanted to go. He invited his buddy Aksel across the street and Brielle came too. They had a blast running around like crazies and literally bouncing off the walls
After Hang Time I took the kids to Taco Amigo drive thru (one of their favorites- Cheese melts and chicken tacos!). We brought it to the fire station and ate dinner with Chase and the crew.
I snapped this picture of Chase and Brielle after we ate dinner. Its one of my favorites 💜
It was Aksel's first time visiting the fire station and Beckham was stoked to show him around. Chase gave Aksel the royal treatment and let him ride shotgun in the fire truck.
