Brielle's Last Soccer Game

I can't believe we made through a year of competitive soccer! Spring season went so much better than fall season. The girls had improved so much and their team was dropped down a division so they were actually playing teams at their same skill set! It was exciting and fun to watch. Brielle progressed so much compared to when she started last May. Her speed, endurance and confidence on the field was incredible! She started the year playing keeper and got very tired of it by the time spring season rolled around. Then she mostly played offensive positions and her favorite was right wing! This game ended 0-0. The girls on both teams played their hearts out! Brielle loved her team and Coach Ron. For now she is excited to take a break from soccer and start cross country in the fall and ski more in the winter (she is currently saving to pay for half of her unlimited ski pass). 

Look at her go! On a side note she was approached by some parents of  players on Arsenal who wanted her to play for their team this fall. It was a team with some of our own neighborhood friends we played this year. They saw her out of the field and were very impressed with her tenacity and right wing skills out on the field. I will miss seeing my cute soccer player. Maybe she will pick it up again one day :)
