Disney Cruise Day 2: Key West

Waking up to a breath taking sunrise in Key West was probably one of the most magical moments for me on the cruise.

The kids were so excited to explore the ship on this day and had no interest in seeing Key West. The beauty of it was we were able to leave them on the ship while we explored the Key West port. They were burnt out from sight seeing in Miami and the thrill of exploring a huge, new cruise ship was too exciting for them to miss out on. So they got to have their fun swimming, water sliding, eating ice cream and making new friends while we got to have a little day date in Key West!

There was a fun local parade going on through town. Other than that we just walked through all the shops, went to Mallory Square and then headed back to the ship. We found the kids happy as can be in our room watching a movie and eating snacks.

It also happened to be our formal night at dinner this day. The kids were troopers dressing up after a long day in the sun and made this momma very happy! I loved how our pictures turned out! This night we ate at Lumiere's which was themed after Beauty and the Beast.

So when you got in line for pictures they just kept making you go from one backdrop to the next until you made it through all of them 😂 Brielle was so mad! Ha ha! So you can see below her trying her best to smile instead of mouthing off to the photographer. She is not a huge fan of photo shoots. But we made it through! Ha ha!

Another highlight of the cruise was the turn down service every night. Our stateroom attendant, Rey, was from the Philippines and was so kind. We loved seeing his towel animals and receiving our chocolates each night. Day 2- SUCCESS!
