Disney Cruise Day 5 & Final Day in Miami

I did not take a single picture the final day of our cruise! We were at sea the whole day and I had already captured most of what I wanted to remember. The kids did more waterslide and swimming and then decided they wanted to watch Avengers:End Game in 3D. That is a 3 hour movie so Chase and I walked them to the theater on the ship and dropped them off. Him and I decided to go to the spa and have fun in the Rain Forest Room. There were all these rain showers with different temperatures and aromas. There were heated lounge chairs and steam rooms. We were given some exfoliating scrubs and did those in the steam room. It was heavenly!! We picked the kids up after their movie and enjoyed the rest of our night. The next morning we disembarked around 7:30 after breakfast and caught a private shuttle to our hotel in Miami Beach.

We stayed at The Palms and it was lovely! We arrived super early but to our surprise they let us check in at 10:00 am! I loved this shot of the kids walking to the pool. The resort grounds were lush and colorful and right on the beach.

The resort pet. I can't believe how many people have parrots in Florida.

Some of my favorite plants and flowers.

The pool was beautiful. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. There were also tons of Europeans there. So it was cool to hear people speaking everything from Spanish, to Greek, to who knows what else! Ha ha!

This is the pathway that led to the beach and more lovely flowers!

We took a few pictures by the beach. I love their colorful lifeguard towers! If I could explain Miami in one word, it would be colorful!

We ended our day taking a trolley to South Beach and walking around for a bit. The highlight for us was the European bakery we found! We all got a treat and shared with each other. We didn't last long on South Beach because we were all so tired. We went back to the hotel and relaxed! Then the next morning flew home to Utah. The vacation could not have gone any better. Everyone was healthy the whole time, we had perfect weather and all of our flights and Ubers went smooth as can be! The thing I love most about our big family trips, no matter where we go, is that it is just our family together. We are unplugged from our Provo life for a bit. No hustle and bustle, no million texts going off for work on Chase's phone, no running errands, no homework, no drama at school... just our little four pack! We get to leave it all behind, reconnect with each other and experience new things together.
