End of School Year 5K

My kids always love the school 5K. Beckham likes to take his time and run/walk with his buddies. Brielle and her friends like to keep it competitive and run as fast as they can! I was able to grab a handful of photos after the race of my little rascals!

I loved this moment when Beckham was about to finish. Brielle and her 4th grade buddies all started cheering him on and ran with him to the finish line. It warmed my Momma Heart! Brielle is not pictured here but you can see Calvin giving Beckham an encouraging push to cross the finish line :) I got the cutest video of Brielle running right by her brother.

Brielle's French Teacher Mme Jensen ran with all of her 4th graders. Her husband joined in as well. We love Mme Jensen!

Brielle set a goal last year to come in at the top three fastest girls in 4th grade. She made her goal and came in 3rd! She said while she was running every time she was tired and wanted to stop running she kept thinking about not letting Sarah pass her (Sarah made top three with Bella and Maria last year). She passed Sarah and was able to stay ahead and claim her spot in the top three!

Brielle was beaming with pride and worked so hard to meet her goal. Of course she was embarrassed to have me there taking pictures but that is my job as her mother, right?! I was so proud of her!
