Family Vacation Part 2: Disney Cruise Day 1
We were so excited to board the ship! We ushered right over from the hotel and the whole process was nice and smooth. We took some fun pics on our way to board the ship.
Beckham's expression above is priceless.
We had our suits on under our clothes and the first thing we did was hit the Aqua Dunk waterslide. By the end of the cruise Brielle had gone down 81 times! Beckham was in the 50's somewhere. The lifeguards were so cute with Brielle since she went down it so much. She got to know them well!
Next we took them to check out their kids club. Disney's kids clubs are pretty spectacular and are one big thing they are known for on their cruises. Funny thing though, Brielle and Beckham didn't spend a ton of time there. They wanted to swim and water slide instead. But the times they did spend in there was a blast. They needed more Avengers action to keep my kids attention. They loved Iron Man.
Next it was the "Sail Away" party. Lot of music, dancing and all the classic Disney characters. Tons of fun and exciting energy!
We found a spot at the back of the boat as we sailed away from Miami. It was beautiful.
Disney has rotational dining where you eat in a different specialty restaurant each night. The first night was Rapunzel's Table. We met our server who we would have the entire cruise and enjoyed a whole musical while we enjoyed our food. The ambiance was incredible!
The kids were too tired to go to our show time at 8:30. They stayed behind in our room and hung out while Chase and I went. We enjoyed a beautiful sunset from our veranda before the show. Day 1 was a success!
