Simple Summer Nights

I try not to take the beauty for granted where I live. Summer evenings are our favorite. Brielle and I came out to stare at this rainbow right over us after a rainstorm. I told her I like to think of it as Heavenly Father saying hello and reminded her it symbolizes  God's promise never to flood the earth again.

As much as I love our new deck, there is something about a front porch summer night view. Chase and I have spent many nights out here after kids have gone to bed. We often sip on a drink or eat popsicles. We wave to neighbors, have late night chats and take in the sweet summer scenery. We are blessed.
