A Bear in a Tree!

Ever since firefighters have been around they have been known for rescuing cats from trees for sweet little, old ladies. Or at least that's the joke, Im not sure how much cat rescuing really happens. But Im not sure how many firemen can say they rescued a black bear from a tree! This little fella was up a tree right in the middle of Orem City out in front of the library! Animal control came, they shot it with a tranquilizer and he fell asleep. He slowly fell out of the branches, without being hurt and was taken back to the mountains! Chase and Seth were pretty stoked to have this be their first call of the day. 

You can see Mr. Bear peeking down at everyone. I wonder what he is thinking? Maybe "Oh crap, what did I get myself into?"

And these are just a few beautiful pics of Chase on duty at LifeFlight. He gets to see some beautiful backcountry flying around in the helicopter.

I can only imagine how vibrant the fall colors were in person.
