More Christmas Festivities

Lots of Christmas partying over here and we love it! We did a Christmas photo shoot with Dobe Dog and of course he hated it! Ha ha! We framed this picture and used it as one of our white elephant gifts for the family Christmas Party. We love our Dobe. 

The kids also had their Christmas Sing concert at school. Chase was home this year so he was able to come see them. While I was teaching this month I was able to witness first hand how hard the kids practice these songs and even get yelled at by their teachers for not singing loud enough, good enough, blah blah blah! So I had great appreciation for their singing this year and all they went through. No joke! I was subbing at Rock Canyon one day and sat to listen while my class was practicing their songs. Right when the teacher started them off to sing they barely got the first few words in when she stopped them and said " THAT WAS TERRIBLE! TRY AGAIN!" Poor kids! ha ha! The kids would come home and say how Mrs. Driggs got mad at someone or Mrs. Robertson yelled at their class for not taking it seriously. I tried to have a good laugh with them about it  and encourage them! They are kids after all... Not the Tabernacle Choir at Temple Square. 

I loved planning Beckhams class Christmas party. We just had a hot chocolate bar and the kids watched weird cartoons their teacher turned on because we couldn't get Polar Express to work. 

That night we had a fun Christmas party at The Gardners. Matt made homemade pretzels, cheese sauce and wings. For some reason it tasted so good and made me so happy I wanted to cry! Brielle had just gotten home from skiing when we left and she was wiped out. So she stayed home while me, Chase and Beckham went. I love the Gardner's and their kids. I got a kick out of Will, their youngest, when I asked where Chase was (that is their oldest). Will says "Chase is bad so he is GONE!" Ha ha ha! He continued to tell us how his big brother always wrestles him and hits him. Pretty funny.

Matt bought all of Hobby Lobby and we had endless craft supplies for ornaments. 

Chase made an ornament for Austin and spelled "Bros" wrong! 😂 He had burned it into the wood so there was no correcting it but he happily gave Austin the ornament anyway. 

We have also had lots of cozy nights at home by the Christmas tree watching Christmas movies. We are all loving our new electric portable fireplace too! Makes the room nice and warm! Extra cozy.
